# Our Story

Valencia, Spain · 1964

## A 12-year-old girl walked into a baby clothes factory.

Today, that girl dresses women across the world.
Her name is Pepa. And this is her story.

1964

### I walked in knowing nothing.Expecting nothing.

At twelve years old, after school, I would go to a factory in my village in Valencia. They made baby clothes and cots. It wasn't a romantic calling or a brave decision. It was 1964, a Spain where twelve-year-old girls simply helped their families make ends meet.

And in there, within two years, I fell completely in love.

In love with fabrics. With the way fresh cotton crackled when you unfolded it on the table. In love with seams, with the impossible geometry of a pattern, with that exact moment when two flat pieces became a sleeve, a collar, something that would dress a newborn baby.

The other girls counted the hours until home time. I stayed behind. Watching. Asking questions. Taking it all in — stealing every gesture from the older seamstresses with my eyes.

1966

### I made my choice.And I never stopped.

By the time I turned fourteen, I was no longer the same girl who had walked into that factory. I had found — without even looking — the one thing I would do for the next sixty years of my life.

I began sketching my own designs. In the evenings, I would sew my own clothes at home. Every single thing I wore, I made myself.

Because in the sixties, in my village, a girl didn't get to decide anything. Girls were meant to prepare for marriage. Girls didn't go into fashion, didn't have opinions about fabrics or cuts.

It took me twenty-seven years
to find the courage to open
my own shop.

1993

### The day the entire villagestopped to look.

A woman, running her own business, in a village in Valencia, in 1993. That wasn't exactly normal either. But on opening day, the whole village stopped. It was a celebration. My customers, some of whom had known me since I was a girl, walked in as if they were coming home.

From the very first day, I decided this wouldn't be just another shop — it would be a place where every woman felt free to choose whatever she damn well pleased.

The shop just kept growing.
And one day I realised it was no longer just a shop.

Born

Before online shops even existed

### We uploaded photos.Customers rang us.We sold over the phone.

When computers arrived, we were amongst the first. Nobody had a website yet — online shops simply didn't exist. We published photos of our collection on a webpage, customers would ring us, and that's how we sold.

No manuals. No roadmap. Nobody to copy.

They said I was mad. As always.

Today

### That girlnever gave up.

We dress women in Spain, across Europe, in the United States. Young women — free, fresh, vibrant. Women who, like that twelve-year-old girl in a factory in Valencia, refuse to let anyone tell them how far they can go.

Every Q2 garment carries sixty years of defiance within it. The defiance of a woman who chose her own path when nobody would let her. The same defiance you wear every time you choose to be yourself.

was born from a woman
who said I can.

And every day, every garment we create
carries those very same words within it.
